   This is the cartridge for all you record lovers on a tight budget. Once upon a time Stanton made a cartridge called the 500EMKII. The Stanton lineup no longer includes it. Instead there is the universal L720EE. However, the L720 will not accomodate the older D50E stylus nor will it accomodate the 78 stylus. Now KAB brings back that cartridge's performance with solid mounting platform and light tracking elliptical stylus in our custom 400 V3EE. Completely compatible with all older 500 series styli. Plus 78 and Older Lp styli are available.

   The 400 V3EE will fit any standard tonearm . Mounting is accomplished with two screws ½" apart. Hardware is included.

   Stanton remains one of the few companies that still fit elliptical styli in all their hi fi and audiophile cartridges. The benefit is better highs and less mis tracking.

   The really great features to take note of with the 400 V3EE are, I believe, the economic price and great performance. Compare with other budget priced cartridges and see if they use elliptical styli ? Stanton continues to lead in the "more for your money" category.

   The 400 V3EE is also a good choice for automatic changers like better grade ADC, BSR, Garrard and Dual. ( For Older Changers, we reccomend the DJ cartridge 500AL )

Why do we do this? There is still strong demand for the performance and flexibility of the old 500EMKII. Now the neat thing about Stanton is that all their cartridge body designs are identical, whether 400, 500, 505, 520, the only difference that sets performance is the supplied stylus. KAB takes the N400 heavy duty stylus and replaces it with the light tracking, hi polish elliptical stylus D71EE. That alone is all it takes to transform the 400V3 from a rugged DJ cart to an entry level audiophile cart. Of course we all wish Stanton would continue to make the 500EMKII, but so long as there is another way, KAB will do it. So now you still have a standard mount cart that accomodates all your older 500 styli as well as custom 78 styli from Expert Stylus UK.
