The really great features to take note of
with the BDT2600 are, I beleive, the ultra wide speed range, wide arc manual
tone arm and built in phono preamp.
The wide arc of the tonearm makes playing
very small records like "Little Wonder" discs a trouble free affair. Many
manual tonearms have "stops" that prevent reaching this far, and of course,
automatic tonearms will return long before the record is over.
The Built in Phono Preamp is great 'cause it
lets you connect the BDT2600 to a sound card or into the AUX input of the
stereo or directly to a tape or CD recorder. It has a bypass switch if you want
to use your own phono stage.
Another neat feature is the variable speed
which gives 16 to 98 rpm . That's more than enough change to cover nearly any
historical recording!
It is
important to note that the BDT2600 has no cueing lever.
The BDT2600 comes with
standard RCA style connectors. Some computer sound cards will require RCA to
Mini Stereo cable adapters. Check with your computer maker. |
