    The best possible cleaning of vinyl comes with a professional vacuum based cleaner. But, when budget is an issue, the Stanton VC-1 offers an alternative that provides a good degree of cleaning.

    The heart of any cleaning fluid is a characteristic know as dry weight residue. As it sounds, it describes what is left behind when the fluid itself dries. If you choose to make your own fluid, we recommend using distilled water and never more than 10% alcohol. Other ingredients include surfactants and detergents. The Nitty Gritty brand fluid has a 20 year history of good, safe results. It is the brand we recommend.
